that's not it
Music is not a delicate orchestration of pretty notes
Embedded with harmonious layers of foundation and extension of chords
It is not based upon a metronomic pulse
With a loud thump that leads and lags around it.
A scream is not a mere high pitch projected in loud volumes
Nor a cry as a sheer drops of eye rain
All is empty. All is shallow. Meaningless and fruitless.
Without a deep soul and reason behind it.
What makes a man if not a true respect and understanding of life?
Virtue, Honour, Humility, Respect, Compassion, Love.
What makes a woman if not an everlasting love and patience?
Virtue, Honour, Humility, Respect, Compassion, Love.
What makes Love if not overflowing joy?
It is not made of kisses, nor hugs, nor bunches of flowers.
Not of days, months, years, or decades that passes by.
But a deep understanding and acceptance of two hearts that meet as one.

we all want acceptance..sometimes we have to pay for wanting to be accepted...and even to accept ourselves as we are..it is though..i think understanding can grow after that
so what is a music? it is a rythm and flow of emotion...but still it has no rule...a lot more like love
it is human needs to feel acceptance and belonging, true. But how can one accept something without truly understading it, and realizing its positive and negative sides?
Music is alot like love, yes. But they're both nothing without true emotion and passion, as well as a rationalized common sense.
hello,
all this talk of love and acceptance reminds me of Coleridge's poem, 'Love and Friendsip Opposite'. thought i'd share it with you:
'Her attachment may differ from yours in degree,
Provided they are both of one kind;
But friendship how tender so ever it be
Gives no accord to Love, however refin'd.
Love, that meets not with Love, its true nature revealing,
Grows asham'd of itself, and demurs:
If you cannot lift hers up to your state of feeling,
You must lower down your state to hers.'
